RuFilms is one of the main partners of the Eurasian Subtitlers’ League – the professional association of subtitles’ translators and editors. It aims to improve the standing of subtitling as a profession.
ESL conducts research in the field of audiovisual translation and digital accessibility. It creates subtitling standards and improves the quality of subtitling services. This year, the League started its own School of Digital Accessibility and started working on unification of terminology of audiovisual translation (AVT). The association promotes educational courses taught by professionals from all over the world.
